Dustin Donahue  percussion studio

About Dustin

I have been active as a percussion instructor for over 10 years. I teach all kinds of percussion including orchestral instruments, mallet instruments, drum set, and world percussion instruments. Because the world of percussion is so large and every student has different goals in mind, I tailor the lesson experience to meet your needs and interests.

I maintain an international career as a performer of chamber, orchestral, and contemporary music. I have also taught music theory and music history extensively at the university level. I hold a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Musical Arts in percussion performance from the University of California, San Diego working with Steven Schick. Prior to my arrival in California, I studied at the University of Wisconsin with Anthony Di Sanza.

Feel free to check out my performance activity at dustindonahue.com!
